Everyone talks about Google. It is definitely a leader in the area of technology and it is consistently one of the best companies to work for each year. My friend Brian was tour guide and I saw a glimpse of the campus. We even stopped by the Android mascots for a mini photo shoot. All the photographs were created by my friend Nicolesy.

For the past year or two I have been helping design the mobile applications for my day job’s distributors and customers. It has been a lot of fun and a learning experience. It has also meant learning how Android works for a user. I even bought a Nexus 7 tablet so I can be better familiarized with the Android UI. What does this have to do with photography? Absolutely nothing.

I will confess, California is pretty dang cool. While everyone is freezing in Utah, I am in northern California enjoying sunny weather. For this trip I am also working with my Fuji X-E1. It is my “tourist” camera and it does a great job with quality and it looks oh so cool.
