I had the opportunity to photograph Alex for his Senior portraits since he was graduating high school. Senior portraits can be a pretty custom photo shoot. Alex was pretty open to anything for his photo shoot. So we just hit some scenic locations in Provo.
We started at the Provo Castle which works pretty well for most any photo shoot. Alex’s dad actually works at the State Hospital so we didn’t have to pay the photography fee. Score! The stone masonry of the castle works with Alex’s look. The black shirt, black hat, and gauged ears.
We then headed down to Provo’s center street. We found some brick and peeled paint walls that worked for the overall look.
Here is a behind the scenes photo from out shoot. It has my portable lighting kit. We’re able to photograph most anywhere with this setup and keep moving to different locations.
Finally we ended up at Utah Lake for sunset. We never did get the golden sun light but still pretty nice.
