I had to opportunity to help photograph a wedding for Heidi Ann Photography! I was the second shooter for this beautiful wedding up Millcreek Canyon in Log Haven. The grounds for Log Haven include a lake, a field, and several buildings. I’m including a few photographs of Log Haven that were not used in this wedding but still help capture the beauty of the area.

The bride and groom were photographed before the wedding ceremony. I think the bride and groom are more relaxed if they can get some photos done before the ceremony… and you have more time for photos! Often, after the ceremony you don’t have much time with all the family photos, group photos, and dinner.

The benefit of having 2 or more photographers is the chance to photograph more details. If you have invested a bit into the design and planning of a wedding having lots of photos can be a good thing. If you have just one photographer you might not have enough time to get everything photographed. With two, you can split up the duties.

Here are a few photographs of the wedding ceremony. This part of Log Haven has a balcony that overlooks the canyon. The trees and surrounding nature are very pretty.

FYI, there isn’t great cellular coverage in Log Haven. There is some wi-fi but it isn’t very strong. But that might mean the guests stay off their phones and have a fun time! Bonus!
