The Provo City Center is nearing completion. It has been almost 5 years since the original Provo Tabernacle was burned after an electrical fire started. The tabernacle was burned to just a shell. It has been remarkable to watch the temple take shape.
This photo is available for purchase as print and/or digital copy here.
It is still under construction so photographing the new temple is a bit of a challenge. However, I think I have the secret. There are some plants and shrubs on the west side that can obscure the construction. Using a shallow depth of field the lavender (or whatever the purple plant is) creates a colorful frame for the building.
With autumn here the colors are changing in the mountains in the backgrounds. You can see the Y on Y Mountain if you look for it.
It will be fun to see the Provo City Center Temple when it is completed. The building will start tours in January and go through March.
