I have had the opportunity to create product photography for a number of different companies ranging from swimwear, food, baby accessories and now dog treats and dog supplies.
Rocco & Roxie are available on Amazon.com and they needed their products photographed and then retouched for sale. They also needed the images for marketing materials that would be printed and used at trade shows.
We did the product photography at the client’s home. I brought my portable lighting setup, a light tent, and tripod for the photo shoot. I then picked the images that would be retouched. In the case of some of the products we needed to smooth the bag. With product in there it can appear a bit wrinkled and not as photogenic. You don’t realize how much retouching goes into product photography. It can be a full time job! I also knocked out the product so it appears on a perfect white background.
For jobs like this I can charge per product, or by the hour, or for the entire job. I can always submit an estimate and a breakdown of cost for product retouching.
