Don’t hate me because of the title of the play, that is the title of the play! We follow the lives of residents of a small island off Ireland in this Weber State Production. There are rumors of a Hollywood movie and there are dreams of stardom and rumors and gossip follow.
I’m so happy we have modern cameras. The plays I photograph these days are artistically lit, and often quite dark. I’m able to get quality images out of my lenses and cameras, woo hoo! So now the different departments can use the photos to promote their work. Actors have photos to share. We can feature the wardrobe, set design, directing, and more. Everyone needs portfolio pieces these days.
The play itself has dark humor and a mystery of sorts. Even with the gossip, some secrets are best kept.
And I get culture while I photograph, woo hoo! Who says you can’t multitask?
