Image Studios rents space to small business owners who want their own studio space for a number of services. They rent to hairstylists, eyelash threading, tinting, nail salons and so much more. I have photographed a number of the rental spaces but they needed photos of actual people doing actual things. That is what we call lifestyle images and they are great for advertising.
Shampoo and condition before a haircut
Image Studios took care of the model releases for everyone and everyone was great to work with. I brought my portable lighting kit, because everyone looks great with awesome lighting, and I was able to work in the different studios quickly while each person did their specific task whether it was hair styling, eyelash threading, or tinting.
Haircuts with stylists
We photographed at two of the Image Studios locations and we tried to be fast, efficient, and ninjas… so hopefully we didn’t get in the way. Although a guy with a big camera and lights that go flashy-flashy? People are going to notice. It is important to make people feel comfortable and natural in front of the camera. I take a lot of photos and whittle them down. We just want the awesome shots.

Lifestyle images are a great way to promote any business. Your clients can see your team in action and it humanizes your company. That is why you see people having a great time while drinking sodas… you are selling a lifestyle. So hopefully these images help.
