Kristin’s Modeling Portfolio in Salt Lake City

by dav.d

Kristin wanted to build her modeling portfolio. This meant creating as many different looks and locations as possible in about 2 hours. We started in studio photographing some fitness photos where she wore sporting clothes and a water bottle helped sell the look 😉

One of my favorite shots of the photo shoot. This model shot has been in my portfolio.

We then switched to some edgy clothing options. Kristin brought along a stylist to help with wardrobe, makeup, and hair. This helps immensely.

We spent some time out by the Great Salt Lake. At the time there was an abandoned trolley that was popular for photography. I brought my big studio lights to help overpower the sun. We also photographed in the grass area and on the “beach” of the Great Salt Lake.

We also spent some time in a quiet area of Salt Lake City. There is some cool brick patterns and an abandoned train track. Train tracks can be cool but sometimes they are a little cliche.
