Ok, last session with a family in front of Christmas lights… until next Christmas. Which will be here before you know it. These holidays sneak up on you fast. We have Joel’s little family here. We had to go quickly before we lost the kids’ attention and didn’t get it back. We do the group photos first and then the individual photos right afterwards.

Claire’s bunny ears remind me of Louise from Bob’s Burgers. So that makes this photo extra cute. To keep her entertained she was given a stick to play with. Who doesn’t like to play with sticks?!

Christmas lights for everyone
For each person I also held Christmas lights in front of my lens. Some turned out very well and others it was a little too distracting. But it is fun to experiment with photography to create something unique. Hooray for unique portraits!
