If you work in corporate America, eventually you are going to need some professional headshots. These are typically in front of a plain background with men wearing suits and women wearing the female equivalent. I photographed Jay for his headshots down at the studio in Draper. I schedule these shoots for an hour, the minimum available time for the studio rental, however, we rarely need that much time for professional headshots. However, if you want to have as many wardrobe changes, you are welcome to take that time. I don’t limit wardrobe changes.
For headshots I should typically on black and white seamless paper. The white is flexible because I can make it appear grey, dark grey, and white. White is nice, it makes it easy for use on realtor business cards and marketing. Having that variety gives your designer or business cards a lot of flexibility.
The the popularity of LinkedIn and other networking websites, it almost feels imperative to have a professional headshot. Drunk party pics don’t work so well on LinkedIn. So let me know if you need headshots! They are quick, painless, and we have fun photographing.
