If you don’t know, I have a day job at Nu Skin as one of their UX/UI/Web/Mobile app developers. I get to wear many hats since I am multitalented, woo hoo! Like a lot of companies we want our distributors and clients to love and share their favorite products on social media—someday we’ll just call it media—and we want them to be inspired on how they can share their products photos.
I always have at least one camera with me. I had my little Fuji camera this day and I was asked if I could create some photographs as an example for Nu Skin distributors. Photos that people might like to share on social media such as Instagram. I’ve been on Instagram for years and I share both iPhone photos and photos I create with my bigger cameras.
So we used the building and some of the glass tables, water fountains, stonework, and even carpets to photograph this product.
Full disclaimer, as an employee I do get access to free or discounted product each month. I have been a regular daily user of the Tru Face Essence Ultra. I love the stuff. I know this and other Nu Skin products must work if I look younger than my brothers. That is all the proof I need.
All of these photographs were created with natural light and my Fuji 56mm f/1.2 lens. I wish I has brought in my macro lens that day. That very morning I had replaced it in my bag. However, we were still able to create some cool photos.
This photograph is my absolute favorite from the bunch. The Tru Face Essence Ultra is contained in these little capsules. I positioned them as if they had exploded from the container. Everything is resting on a glass table and the light blue carpet below creates an awesome texture. I’ll toot my own horn, this is cool!
