Henry’s Baptism with Family Photos

by dav.d

Henry recently turned 8 years old and in the LDS church that is the age someone must be to be eligible for baptism into the church. Henry’s family and extended family joined him on Saturday as he was baptized a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints aka the Mormons. I was there to support Henry and to create a few family photographs afterwards.

So here is the larger group photograph. I should have brought taller light stands to shine a bit more light on the tall people in the back but people still look great.

And I created a few photographs of Henry holding a copy of the scriptures. The family only had an electronic version on an iPad… but that isn’t as photogenic as a leather bound copy of the Book of Mormon. So someone ran across the street and found the leather bound book.

We then photographed Henry with his Mom and Dad. Joe was the person who baptized Henry this day.

And here is a rare family photo of the whole Bush family. Joe isn’t too fond of having his photograph created so you jump at the opportunity.

And I always give people the chance to have their photograph taken or other groupings. We have the gear there and will put it to use.
