Employee Headshots for Rocco & Roxie

by dav.d

It was a busy day of photography for Rocco & Roxie. We photographed their bandanas at the office, we photographed dogs sporting the bandanas in the park, we photographed the family in the park, and we shot headshots in their office. Busy day.

For these headshots we used the white wall in the office and the background. I used one light and a reflector for each headshot. It’s pretty quick and dirty and gets the job done. Yay!

For each person, I would have them select their favorite headshot, and that is what I would touch up in Photoshop. I do a great job picking photographs, but sometimes, people like to pick that one photo to represent themselves. People are their own worst critic. The most common phrase is “that photo isn’t bad.” Which reflects people view of themselves, that they are very judgemental of what they look like. My job is to make you feel comfortable in front of the lens and make you the best version of yourself.
