I photographed the corporate headshots for the fine folks at LUX Catering & Events. We had photographed the team about a year or two ago when they did their rebranding and we decided to update the photos with the new people at the same spot. Yay, consistency! And I just realized I didn’t blog the old photos. I’ll have to add that to my ever growing marketing checklist.
I’ve worked with LUX Catering & Events for years now. They are growing quickly and expanding their business. They are pretty much full service for all things events.
In shooting headshots, I will do eye replacement when needed. Some glasses reflect almost everything. Some would work great at starting fires for the Boy Scouts, and that is why it is necessary to replace eyes in Photoshop. We’ll shoot photos with the glasses and without and I can easily combine the best of both so people look their best.
We photographed all the chefs with and without their toque blanche. That is the French name for the white hat.
The head chef and the head of design are father and son. Pretty cool.
I can’t recommend LUX Catering & Events enough. If you have corporate events, weddings, family parties, whatever, give them a call.

Each company seems to end up with a unique look to their headshots, often due to the location or the background. For LUX Catering & Events we found a spot in downtown SLC that works great. We’ve photographed there a few times. […]
