It’s my blog so I get to do my personal ramblings and musings. Why wait till the beginning of the year to talk New Year’s resolutions? We should always be looking at our goals and working on completing, canceling, or adding new goals.
My goal this week? Pay off my car! After than, I am debating some travel for this year.
Last year I had about 5 trips out of state. I visited the Bay area in California, North Carolina, Portland, Arizona and somewhere else that I can’t think of at the moment (senior moment).
This year I have been thinking of another trip to San Francisco and spend a few days in the city just doing street photography and some of the traditional locations like the Golden Gate Bridge.

I love Utah, it is a gorgeous location, but it does have an airport. So I would also want to visit New York and Seattle. Not sure if I can do it all this year but we’ll see what happens. In either case, there are several ways to spend money to improve photography… one is to buy new gear. I have a ton of gear. Another way to improve one’s photography is to take a workshop. I have done some of that with online classes. The 3rd way, and most fun way, is to travel! So I plan on using the airport.

There is a lot to photograph in Utah as well! Summer time brings the balloon festivals, art festivals, and other events. And we can’t forget Moab and southern Utah. I hope to maybe visit Bryce Canyon and Zions. And no summer is complete without a trip to Moab. I might need to make a travel buddy to join me, or I can adventure on my own. I have my camera to keep me company.

And the other resolution would be to print a few more of my photographs! I have thousands of cool photographs but about 5 photographs hanging on my wall. That has to change, I’m a freaking photographer.

Just for fun, this is an edited Seattle Space Needle photograph. I added the super moon to the photograph to make the sky a bit more interesting. I’m not above Photoshopping things to make them more interesting. Maybe I’ll add a Godzilla to the photograph.
