Sebastián and Mauro have been good friends of mine for several years. I’ve had the opportunity to photograph Mauro’s Family.
Sebastián’s family is from Uruguay and they were here to visit Utah and spend time with their son. International visits like this almost demand a family photo shoot. I was happy to help out. It was a chance to use some of my Spanish skills and make a family look awesome for the camera.
When picking the location it was suggested we use Sugarhouse Park. They live nearby and the park gives some good views of the Wasatch Mountain range. When you visit Utah one of the first things you notice are the beautiful mountains. What is a better background?
In addition to the big family we did individuals, couples, and some family parings like father and son. And a good time was had by all.
I am going to let you in on a secret. That lake in the previous photo? Totally fake. For some reason Sugarhouse Park had emptied the lake. Maybe to count the number of fish that used to live there before they were killed. Anyway, fun with Photoshop. Just real enough not to be noticed.
