David Daniels, the photographer behind dav.d photography, won the Best Photographer in the 2018 Fabby Awards from QSalt Lake Magazine. I’ve collected the cover of the Fabby Award issue and the page that mentions my award.
The award is a result of hundreds of people voting online in a survey of their favorite business, services, locations, and other options. I have won a few times before but it is always nice to know that people appreciate the hard work I do for the LGBT community in Utah.

It helps when my photography regularly appears in QSalt Lake Magazine as part of the advertising or the cover for a news article. In the spread that includes my award there are photos I created for LUX Catering & Events. The next issue of QSalt Lake Magazine will be a photograph I created at an HRC event.
I don’t know if I am tooting my own horn appropriately but if I don’t tell the world, no one will know.
