Curt’s Headshots in Downtown Salt Lake City

Curt works as a masseuse in Salt Lake City and needed several photos for his online work profile. We picked downtown SLC for our location and the late summer afternoon worked great.

For a one person photo shoot, typically headshots, we spend up to an hour photographing. We can shoot in studio—especially if the weather is awful—or we can pick a location that meets your style or personality. And then I will edit up to 3 photos from the shoot. I can pick or you can pick your favorites. If you want more photos touched up, I just charge an extra fee.

And using the right lens can make some truly cool photos. The blurry background just screams professional. Although, Apple and other phone makers now blur the background for you. Will photographers go out if busy? Heck no! I bring my studio lights for most photo shoots and I use a lens that is pretty long and hence is more flattering for a subject.

Toward the end of the shoot we found some cool urban spots that looked so cool. This is behind Market Street Grill. We could smell the fresh fish! Nummers!

This is a shot that natural light photography weakly can’t create. To have to darker sky, you need a flash to illuminate the subject.
