When I first started to get serious about photography it was sports that was catching my attention. I was really never that great at playing sports. It was fun, more social than anything. Once I had a semi serious camera I had that everywhere including the BYU vs Oregon in the 2006 Las Vegas Bowl. My family had scored some end zone tickets and I brought my DSLR. At the time the camera shot only 6 megapixels but it was enough to create a 30×40″ print for my home. One of my favorite photographs of all time!
I don’t photograph sports that much anymore. I do take a small camera to the BYU football games and the Real Salt Lake games. The seats aren’t as good and the lens I take isn’t long enough. But I am there to enjoy the game with my eyes and not through the eyepiece of my camera. Sometimes, you want to stand up cheer, and enjoy the moment.
And I have season tickets to all the BYU football games. I am also turning down photo assignments for home games. So far I have had to turn away a good chunk of change because of the schedule. It’s worth it though. Our seats are a lot closer to the game this year, no more nosebleed section for us!

Looking for contact info for David Daniels that I knew from Frederick, Maryland. Classmate of mine in seventh grade, the first member of the Church I ever met and well-known to be the smartest kid in our class. I was a convert at age 27 and have never forgotten him or his family. Any help would be appreciated. 248-881-3683
