It’s another big post with lots of wedding photos. We have Kyle & Bri at Publik Coffee in Salt Lake City. The theme goes to the 1950s with mint and leopard print. There is even a classic GMC truck for some of the couple photographs.
We started the day with some getting ready photos with the bride at a local hotel. I try to photograph the hair, makeup, and even details such as jewelry, shoes, and the wedding dress.
We definitely need photos of the gifts for the bridesmaids.
Junior is ready for Mom & Dad’s wedding!
Yes, I photograph the details, but the most important thing is the people and the emotion. Mom was getting teary eyed on the walk down the aisle.
The first kiss is very important to photograph… so take your time! And remember “church tongue” from the Wedding Singer. That is an old movie reference—I am dating myself there.
I’ll remind you to kiss at the end of the recessional.
They had a classic GMC truck outside that was perfect for some couple photos.
And of course a lot of weddings involve throwing things at your guests. Someone is going to get married after this.
We did the family photographs in front of the wooden structure built by the bride’s father. And it’s a good thing I bring my lighting, the light from the windows would have put the family into shadow. People also look their best with my lighting.
Kids at weddings can be quite entertaining.
Here is a behind the scenes photo of my lighting setup and the reason people look awesome when I photograph them.
