This Friday is the World Premier of Blackberry Winter at the Salt Lake Acting Company. Since this play is so new I had a challenge of a time finding a description. It appears that the play centers on Vivienne Avery as she deals with her mother’s slide into the grip of dementia and Alzheimer. We see what it takes to care for a parent.
I have tickets for the play this Friday and I am looking forward to seeing the play.
Recently the theater has moved to using LED stage lighting. If you are familiar with photography you know about white balance and color correction. With the change in lighting you need a grey card and a light meter to get accurate color. The LED lighting adds a lot of pink and blues to the color of the play. To human eyes things look great, but to the camera things can look really pink!
So with the right tools and adjustments I have the photos looking accurate and they print great. These photos are using in the lobby to advertise the play. The photo are also used on news websites, Facebook, and other marketing channels.
