Winter time is still a great time for photography and portrait sessions. As a photographer I do like to photograph year round and using a studio in a winter works great! Austin wanted some photographs he could use online and perhaps in some dating websites and so we picked a day to meet up at the studio.
The lighting for these shots is pretty simple and I am going for a darker and moodier feel for the photographs. I will always review some photographs with a client to make sure this is a look they like. I don’t want any surprises after the photo shoot. Communication before, during, and after the shoot is important to everyone having the photos they want.
The studio is also convenient because there is a changing room and I encourage and welcome outfit/wardrobe changes. Some people also want a shirtless photo on occasion. Either way, I don’t have an artificial limit on outfit changes. If we have an hour photo shoot we have all that time to use with photography and changing clothes. If you are concerned about time I am pretty efficient in moving things along and calling for a break to change clothes.
