The holidays are a great time for family portraits. Reunions and travel mean family is together. Even if it is a unique family with just dad and his two kids. We used the Christmas lights on Orem’s Center Street for our frigid location. It didn’t take too long to photograph each individual and then the family together.

It helps to have a specialized lens that turns Christmas lights into giant illuminated spheres. It definitely takes on a magical look. And then a little bit of touch up (cause there were teenagers present) and voila! we have cool photographs.
