It is the holiday season and the mother of all holidays is Christmas! Many of the family get a few days off and we gather at my parents’ house for games, food, movies, games, singing, and more. There are a lot of traditions and for the last number of years, I take a LOT of photographs. Often they are just snapshots, but other times I try and get creative.
Christmas lights help make awesome portraits
Now that everyone has a camera in their phone, or a video camera, there should be no reason not to document the days! The challenge is to edit and share with the family as soon as possible.

These photos are from 2017’s Christmas season. This year (2018) I want to create a family video. I’ll take pictures, sure. But I want to get a cool family video created. We also have a wedding on Christmas Eve this year. My brother is getting married to Amy, so yay!
