I’m finally blogging photographs from this past autumn. Jordan and Alex have been together for about 3 years and wanted to get some couple photographs, professional headshots, and some individual portraits on location. We started at Draper City Park and then moved over to the studio I use in the same area. Because Draper City Park was suddenly being used for high school football practice we decided to go to downtown Salt Lake City’s Exchange Place to get a few more portraits. It isn’t often that I find the need to have a second day of photography, and it depends on everyone’s schedule. But sometimes you just want to have some more time or another location added to the mix.
The autumn leaves were yellow and in some places they worked great other places they were boring and fallen. In all cases we work with the location and create the best portraits possible. We even found a red shed for a background for some photographs. With Spring arriving I am hoping to do some scout work for new locations to photograph. Draper Park is hit or miss.
We then moved to the studio which was less that 5 minutes away. We focused on professional headshots. Their perfect for commercial work, LinkedIn and professional online profiles, and business cards!
Because the Draper City Park was a little bit of a bust in my opinion I suggested we meet a few days later at Exchange Place in Salt Lake City. We took advantage of the downtown flavor, textures, and graffiti.
