Check out the engagement photos for Jared & Tyson. I photographed their wedding last year and I am finally posting their photos to my blog. Woo hoo!
It’s 2019, but I still feel that I need to mention that yes, I photograph gay weddings and gay marriages. LGBT couples often look for someone who specializes in LGBT weddings, and I shoot my fair share. My job, as a photographer, is to make the couple feel relaxed in front of the camera and I do a great job with it.
Spring blossoms are awesome. If you can schedule your photo shoots for mid April, you can get some blossoms at the capitol, Temple Square, orchards, or other spots. They can hang around through early May as well.
And Wheeler Farm has an antique freaking truck! How cool is that? It was in the perfect spot for a sunset photo. Hopefully the truck is always there.
We photographed all over the farm. There are paths, trees, bridges, and small buildings. It is a popular location for photography because you don’t have to drive too far to get there.
The next series is just fun. Some couples are open to trying a piggyback ride. Some couples would never consider something like that. Jared and Tyson thought it would be a fun idea, but they took a tumble and I kept taking photos. Smiles and laughs ensue and we have a fun series of photos.
And just a reminder, Utah has mountains. And in spring, they’re still snowcapped. And they make a great background if you are far away. Although hiking in the mountains for portraits also works.
Plan ahead for 2020! Spring comes every year.
