I had the opportunity to be the event photographer for the inaugural party on the rooftop of Ballet West Academy’s new building. They were celebrating the retirement of one of their dancers.

The rooftop is on the fifth floor and overlooks downtown Salt Lake City. It is a spectacular location. I was there early to photograph the food setup, decorations, and more before the public arrived.

I brought my lighting setup that makes people look amazing at parties. Everyone wants to look amazing in photos and downtown Salt Lake City as the backdrop made for awesome photos.
