I’ve photographed Karolyn’s family Christmas photos for the past few years. Each year we try to create something new. One year we had rock star style portraits for example.
This year we created Andy Warhol style photographs. Each person would get their own 4 color multiprint. And to top it off we created some photographs of the family a la a police line up. Because, it’s fun!

They say everything has been created and that there is nothing new under the sun. And here we are drawing inspiration or downright copying Andy Warhol’s style of a masterpiece. I guess as artists we should spend more time trying to create something we can call our own.

My friend has made bank selling photographs of people in front of a police line up. In fact I am in several of his stock photographs as a zombie and a blushing bride! So he had the police line up set up in studio. I checked with him to see if we could use it for the family’s portrait. He gave his blessing and woo hoo!
